Family Support Facilitator | Eckerd Youth Alternatives | Rutland, VT
Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc, a leader for over 40 years in programs
that help at-risk youth and their families, is in search of a dedicated
and talented individual to join our team as a Family Support Facilitator
in Rutland, Vermont.
As a Family Support Facilitator you will be assessing the needs of the
children and families in our care. Responsibilities include coordinating
and facilitating family decision-making meetings, completing and
overseeing the screening process for children and youth who are referred
to our program, and directing the client data collection and reporting
processes as defined by program guidelines.
The ideal candidate will posses a Bachelor's degree in psychology,
social work, or human service related field. Master's degree and
licensure in the above fields preferred. Two years experience working
with children who have family, educational or emotional problems,
including experience working with family issues preferred. Candidate
must possess strong oral and written communication skills, including
public speaking skills. Other skills required for this position include
the ability to navigate families through complex decision making,
interpret and explain case and court related information, and maintain a
positive attitude in a challenging environment. Proficiency in Microsoft
Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Must become certified in Family
Safety Planning and Family Group Conferencing.
This position requires that the candidate be able to travel on a regular
basis as needed, as well as work a flexible schedule including some
nights and weekends. Must maintain an appropriate and valid state
driver's license, and be insurable by our organization's current
insurance carrier, as well as pass state criminal background check
requirements.
